Faith Lutheran Tyler was founded in 2016 and began work to reach out to the residents of the Tyler, TX Community. With an emphasis on the word of God, relevant preaching, and outreach, Faith Church has grown in size but our core beliefs haven't changed a bit. We remain focused on our mission “to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.” The only way this can be accomplished is through growing in our understanding of Jesus through His Word, the Bible.
Faith Lutheran Tyler worships the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We accept the Bible as God’s inspired and errorless word. It is the only source of truth for life and for eternity.
Faith Lutheran Tyler is dedicated to preaching the truth, that God has prepared a way to save sinners from eternal damnation by sending His Son, Jesus Christ. By Jesus’ perfect life and innocent death, the sins of all people have been paid for in full. Jesus’ resurrection is proof of this! Whoever believes (trusts) in Jesus has the forgiveness of sins, possesses eternal life now, and has a certain future with Jesus in Heaven. Believers in Jesus have been given the new life of faith by which they offer their lives in service to the Lord and all people.

Live Like You’ll Live Forever
“Eyes on the prize.” That axiom stresses that when pursuing some good goal, focus is important. Youdon’t want distractions or a lack of self-discipline to keep you from obtaining whatever that prize mightbe. “Eyes on the prize.” You summon the willpower to fixate on that good thing. You let nothing divertyour attention from obtaining the prize. The prize that we want most is spending eternity with Jesus. As the Church Year comes to a close, Jesuspromises that he will come again “in clouds with great power and glory” to give us that prize. That prizewill be so unbelievably good, it is worth fixating on. It merits our striving to set aside all that woulddistract us from Christ. Let us be ready. Let us keep watch. Let us live with our eyes on the skies.
